Upon graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison master’s program, Mr. DeTorre started his career at 3M Dental Products Division. He held a number of sales and marketing positions with his last being Business Unit Manager for the Global Crown and Bridge business, as well as being responsible for customer relations design and implementation that became the backdrop for the Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award win in 1997.
Over the last 20 years, he has managed a $60M Global Dental business unit for 3M; assisted in the launch of over 150 products from both the manufacturer, distributor, and marketing research perspectives; and was shareholder in a midsize dental distributor where he was responsible for developing and implementing an end-to-end e-commerce ERP warehouse system.
Since buying tk associates in 1997, Mark has spearheaded its growth and diversification, and is presently the COO of MSG Minnesota Inc. where he is responsible for all aspects of the marketing consulting firm: marketing research, customer service support, and e-commerce fulfillment.
In his free time Mark is on the Board of the Patrons of the Arts of the Vatican Museum and is an avid golfer.
